What is
screen printed glass?
The screen-printing process allows the printing of gradual, customized and complex patterns, using a roller or mesh. This product may be used as an element of privacy and design. Likewise, interior spaces may be customized with screen printed glass.
Roller screen printing
Roller screen printed glass undergoes a tempering process so that paint is perfectly adhered to the glass and the color will remain intect in time. This glass requires very low maintenance and is ideal for facades or interiors.
It is widely used to reduce illumination in some areas, absolute privacy and as a spandrel glass to visually block mezzanines in buildings. It may also be used as part of the architectonic design.
Mesh
screen printing
Glass is a
screen printed with a mesh tensed in a frame which transfers the ink, leaving a
pattern and/or printed form on the surface. It is used for better thermal
control in interiors and/or architectonic decorations. It is ideal for interior
divisions, handrails, doors, windows, facades, among others.
In the process, the frame will be lowered on the surface of the glass and then a squeegee is slid over the mesh to carry the ceramic ink to the figures and deposit it on the glass.
