Laminated glass

What is laminated glass?

Laminated glass consists of the assembly of two or more glass sheets with plastic interlayers and is subject to heat in a furnace to stick the sheets.

Laminated glass resists hurricane winds and, in case of breaking, the layer holds glass fragments, significantly reducing the risk of accidental cuts. This is why it is known as safety glass.

This glass may be specially designed for areas with high hurricane risk. It complies with the strict requirements of the Products Protocol of the Miami-Dade area. The use of laminating film protects people, real estate and/or goods.

How is it composed?

Laminated units are composed of two or more glass sheets, according to the required strength. Glass sheets are stuck by film.
